Getting your new coaches off to a great start is one of the most rewarding things every coach gets to do as they build their team. The way you welcome and bring coaches on-board will set the foundation for your relationship, and their success. In this lesson we introduce three tools that can help guide you through getting your coaches off to a great start.
Helping a new coach get their business up and running can feel like a daunting task. There is so much to learn and lots of choices along the way. There is a delicate balance between not giving a coach what they need to succeed, and providing so much information that they want to run and hide. It’s important to remember that every coach comes into the business with unique reasons, hopes, and expectations. This is about helping them achieve what they want, not what we want for them. The key question to ask yourself is, “What is the experience I want every new coach to have when they join our team?”
In this lesson we want to share a few tools that have helped us successfully duplicate the experience our coaches have as we welcome to our team.

1. THE WELCOME LETTER: This is a sample Welcome letter that you can use as a template for your personally sponsored coaches. We send this welcome letter within 24 hours of their enrollment and follow up with a quick text letting them know to look for the email. If they haven’t set up their New Coach call in 72 hours, we call them.
2. NEW COACH CALL: This is a guide that works as a checklist for your 30-minute New Coach Call. It gives you tips on what to discuss and helps you ask questions to get a better feel for how you can best support them.
3. CHECKLIST FOR NEW COACH SET-UP: This checklist was created by one of our Team Genesis Coaches to help his new coaches get connected and into action quickly. We’ve added it to our onboarding because we know some people work best when they have a checklist.
Our top 3 goals for the experience we want every new Team Genesis coach to experience is:
+ Welcome Letter and Welcome Post to the team
+ New Coach Call and New Coach Checklist
+ Coach University leading into our Challenge Groups and Sneak Peeks
TODAY'S TASK: Learn the steps and use them with every coach you have on your team.
