CHALLENGE GROUPS

Hopefully some of you have already started reaching out to some friends and family on your contact list. So what do you do with people who express interest or purchase a challenge pack? You invite them to join a challenge or accountability group!

One great benefit of being a part of a large team is connecting with other coaches to team up and host challenge groups together! Doing this takes the pressure off to run it all yourself and allows your customers to get support from several different team members.

Once you have connected with another coach to co-host an accountability group together, you will want to use this event to start inviting with conversations, texts, posts or any other tool you have to connect with people. Our big goal is to help you build your inviting skills and connect with your first 3+ customers this month.

Challenge Group Facts:
1) Connect with your upline to plan an upcoming challenge group or post to our team page that you’re looking for a success partner to co-host a group.
2) Invite your customers, confirm their order if they have placed one through your website/link, and add them to the group.
3) Ideally your customers want to order in advance so their products are shipped before the start date. With Beachbody On Demand, they will have their workouts ready to go right away but they may need to wait a few days for their nutritional products.

YOUR ROLE AS A LEADER

Your role as a co-host will be to come up with daily inspirational posts and respond to the questions that come up. Here are a few other goals to keep in mind when running a group:

  • Use the challenge group to grow your customer base! The most important result of this group aside from the healthy habits the members are adopting, is that you lock in your three new challengers for this month! This will get you a nice challenge pack bonus, put you at Success Club 5 (more about that next week), and will pay for your Shakeology next month! So invite like crazy and don’t stop. You can add new challengers any time!

  • Get busy with the group! Welcome your challengers with a personal post and tag them in it so they can feel the support they have from the other members. Like each other's posts and comment if you have something positive to add.

  • Lead by example! Make sure you visit every day and post comments for every assignment. If you want your challengers to participate, then you need to lead the way. If your customers don’t see you pushing play to sharing your favorite recipes…why would they jump in and get involved?

  • Make sure to check in with your challengers and reassure them that it is going to be ok, it will be fun, and you will be with them every step of the way! Most people are overwhelmed by the group setting and have never participated in a group before. So show them how to turn on or off notifications, how to see the pinned post and how to check in daily. Reassure them that no one but the members of the group can see what is being posted.

Also, create a Facebook post about how excited you are to kick off your first challenge group and how starting anything new can be scary but when you have a community of support to keep you accountable you will succeed!  Your job as the coach in the group is to make sure your challengers understand what is going on, complete the assignments and check in daily!

If you yourself have any questions about your role as the coach in the group please contact your upline coach or post your questions on our team page! Our hope is for each coach to actively participate, login each day and lead by example. So act just as if you were a challenger too! Trust me, your challengers will follow your lead!

Inviting to a challenge group

If you haven’t created an ad to invite to your challenge group, now's the time! Use some of the same tips we discussed for your launch post (click here for a refresher).

The best times I've found to post is in the morning when people are waking up (6-8am), in the afternoon when people break for lunch (12-1pm), or at night when people are settling into bed (after 8pm). Here are a few example posts you can work off of, but be sure to use your own voice:

  • "I'm nervous but excited! I’m just getting started on my new workout program and I’ve been asked to co-host our next Challenge/Support Group. It’s an online group that has helped me figure out what’s best to eat and how to stick with my daily exercise. Not only do I get to be a part of the group, I also get to bring 3 friends with me! Comment below or message me if you're interested!"

  • I really want to get healthy this new year which is why I’m jumping in to join and co-lead a fitness accountability group. It’s an online group that makes fitness fun and nutrition simple...and it starts in just a few weeks (eek)! Anyone else looking to kick the new year off right? If so, message me!

REMEMBER= Include a selfie and make it fun!
